The work comprises twelve arcs consistent with time zones of the planet and a parabola of light bulbs that turn on sequentially to simulate the sun's movement across the sky: the arcs cast shadows that move organically across the room, heightening our experience of time. In an effort to decolonize our time structures, the work destabilizes our conventions of time by directing our attention to the earth's geographic poles, the two points where all the time zones converge only to fail: standing on either pole, it is impossible to tell time.
